My name is Derrick Fast; I graduated from the Oklahoma School of Photography in Moore, OK and now reside in Oklahoma City.
In the summer of 2009, my interest in photography all began with a little Nikon Coolpix point and shoot camera trying to capture lightning outside my hometown of Fairview, Oklahoma. But the moment I realized my true passion for photography came whilst working on a custom harvest crew traveling from Texas to North Dakota.
By the way, if you've never experienced a South Dakota harvest sunset in October overlooking the vast fields of corn and soybeans, then you must. Every single night was a new and amazing experience.
My passion has taken me into the realm of photographing vehicles for car dealerships since 2014.
I'm one of the lucky ones who can honestly say that I do what I love, and I love what I do.
You can also commonly find me beneath nature's most intense yet beautiful skies while on a riveting storm chasing adventure every chance I get. I mean after all... I AM an Okie. =)
